We may not know it but the color of food influence the choices that we make when eating. Our vision plays a big role into how we choose what we eat in the absence of taste and smell. It has been said that we eat with our eyes. Restaurants take the time to “dress up” their plates to create an emotion before we even take our first bite. While working as a food stylist and photographer, I feel it is important to be able to see the natural colors that compose our food. Being able to look at the color that makes the image helps in the understanding of how color theory works and plays a part in how our mind interprets colors.
