This book is an act of self-reflection—a sweet and savory (soet en sout) journey through the stages of my life. Through photography, writing, and deep introspection, I explore the moments that shaped me and the lessons that guided me. In creating this work, I have rediscovered myself as a strong gay man who has endured, grown, and prevailed through every challenge I’ve faced.
